The Sea Breeze Hotel was originally a Catholic nunnery. After the nuns left it was leased by a local casino who used it to house Russian pole dancers. From September to December 2007 it was completely refurbished and reopened as a hotel catering to travelers.

The Sea Breeze Hotel has a full liquor bar upstairs overlooking the Bay. Guests can sit outside on the covered balcony and enjoy a 'sundowner' or connect to the Internet via our wifi to catch up on their correspondence. The bar is not open to the general public, but friends of guests are welcome.

The hotel owns a 26' traditional Mexican fishing boat (panga), which can be chartered by guests.
